The forums are offline
As no one uses our forum, even though it has 5000 registered users, 99% of which are spam, I have decided to take it offline. My web server isn't the greatest out there and it has been getting twatted by spamming fuckers, so in an attempt to ease the workload, I have taken it offline.
I'm not entirely sure it is that that's causing the slowness in page loads at the moment, but in August there was 10,000 hits on the register.php page of our forum from direct request and it accounted for 25% of the total pageloads...
I'll say a big thank you to Biagrin for letting us use one of his licences for the forums too.

I'm actually quite liking the new module as it allows us all to "do our bit" when we log in and don't really have to administer the site via the back end, as it were...
It's also supposed to be "intelligent" and learn which comments are spam, but I'll believe that when I see it!
