This is not a story, more a warning of the biggest case of false advertising I have come across in recent times.
For those of you that don't know, Mrs Horse is pregnant again. 6 months pregnant to be exact, so it's a bit obvious to anyone who looks at her.
We were in Mothercare today, buying some bibs and shit, and after our shop we proceeded to the checkout. They were having some problems with the scanner and the girl behind the counter had to scan our items twice and had to call an assistant over half way through to correct some mistakes like.
At this point I would like to bring something to your attention. Pregnant women are easily upset, are self concious and need to hear the right thing ALL the time! With this made clear, I will progress.
Afer the checkout girl had put all our stuff into a bag and thanked us she said :
"sorry about the weight"
FUCK ME!! It's not enough that she held us up for about 5 minutes but my wife is heavily pregnant for fucks sake and doesn't need to hear shit like this. Even if she has put 18lb on in 6 months.
Thankfully it seemed to go over her head and she just smiled and left the shop.
I thought it was well out of order, however, and showed the young girl my middle finger and mouthed "fucking die in hell", so to keep the situation from my good wife.
