Get fucked!

I am now working for a lettings agents (best not to post which one, don't want to piss off some landlords!). What is it with this fucking country and giving out to the people that don't deserve it? 9 times out of 10 we get a call from someone on the dole looking for a free home. This in itself is not so bad however the government decided to give these spongers their giro instead of paying us directly! This may not give most people aggro but a council tenant has to be in 8 weeks of arrears before they will pay us directly. If you get given a cheque with £600 of free money are you going to hand that over to your landlord or spend it? Of course you're going to spend it. When the landlord then asks us when it's late we have to explain that we didn't get the money and there's fuck all we can do to get it back. If then landlord then decides he wants to take his or her property back then they can't just change the locks, never mind that their mortgage hasn't been paid and now the banks are after them. Oh no if you do want your place back you have to go through the courts which takes at least 3 months. This is 3 months of unpaid rent which you aren't ever going to see which is already on top of the money owed to you! If you do change the locks you have some council bitch telling you that it's illegal and you have to give the tenants a new set of keys! Most of this headache wouldn't be necessary if we had either one of two things: The government paying landlords direct OR the same law as in Scotland where if you don't pay your rent you're out! Tenants, learn that this is not your house and if you don't pay your rent I should be legally allowed to come round with a baseball bat and get you the hell out of the place and give it to someone who will pay! Believe me we have plenty of people willing to pay their way but it's the 2 or 3 wankers that ruin it for everyone else!

Its disgusting that these benefit leechers, that drain the system of resources at the tax payers expense are then allowed to take FREE legal aid to then fuck the landlords even more. Even if they loose they dont pay jack, so some just do it for the fun. Whilst the landlord suffers and has to pay all of the legal expenses at their expense, and if they win, have means of claiming back any expenses againt the tenants.

Its simple, pay the rent, stay in house. Dont pay, get the fuck out.

I know landlords who have been driven to the brink of suicide and financial bancrupcy, thanks to these benefit sucking apparently single mothers, who all live with their babies fathers, causing shit for everyone.

Elections are coming, Landlords make sure your voice is heard.

The is the risk you take for being a lucky enough cunt to have someone else pay your mortgage. And that's what a deposit is for. SO just increase the deposit, and if no one will rent the place, then tough shit, don't get a mortgage.

Anyway, when you're renting it's not really your house any more, that's why they can't come and go as they please.

If it's such a problem just take tenants with proof of a job . These fucking moany bastards always make ME pay for a
credit check for the privilege of paying their mortgage so they can fuck off. I'd love to have rich parents who could give me a deposit but I alas have to save and pay off someone else's mortgage at the same time.

ZERO sympathy here.

Anyway, 3 months to get them to court sounds a bit long, normally from what I've experienced takes more like 4 weeks. So it's not that bad, you probably just work in a pikey area where the courts are overloaded :-P

3 Months is correct, a section 21 of the housing act of 1988 takes 2 months to expire and then it is only after that that an accelerated possession order can be filed to a court then issued.

Deposits can't be used to pay rent genius, they're there in case you damage the place, legally we can't touch is unless you have trashed it.

And as for a credit check, clearly if you've had one of them then you're not a thieving cunt, therefore I wasn't referring to you in the above post (read "it's the 2 or 3 people that spoil it for everyone)...

What utter bollocks, how can you claim that landlords are ‘over-privileged wankers with an astronomical sense of entitlement’ when you seem to think the government should pay for you to live in someone else’s property.

Then to make matters worse some genius decided instead of paying the rent directly to the landlords it should go to the tenants. Now some of these people are a decent sort who pay on time or occasionally fall a week behind but make it up ASAP. BUT some of them are total scum who would rather spend this rent money on whatever vice there indulging at the time. It takes at least 8 weeks of arrears before the local authority can defer payment to the landlord and longer to get anywhere in court. In which time the cunt in question can have easily done a runner back to what ever pit they came from leaving everyone out of pocket.

Basically it’s not all easy for landlord’s people like you don’t make things any better.

Its pricks like you that can't get a mortgage in the first place that seem to have a hang up with the landlords. Maybe if you saved that bit harder you could get your own place and pay your own mortgage.

Why do these scum need to live in privately owned houses (which could otherwise go to good renters with jobs)? because there not enough Council owned housing. Whys that? Cos the Councils cant afford to keep them up to scratch, or the time it takes to evict them when they default.

If the councils cant afford to keep them in housing how is a private landlord going to manage?
